  • Designed and taught curriculum including courses in beginning audio theory, psychoacoustics, live audio reinforcement, recording, mixing, mastering, MIDI protocol, and music notation.
  • Created a new AAS (Associate of Applied Science) music technology program adding twelve new courses to the music department curriculum.
  • Managed purchasing for the music tech department including all hardware and software for the computer laboratory and recording studio.

Publications International, Ltd., Composer/Sound Designer, Feb 2004 – Jul 2008

  • Developed sound effects and composed, produced, and mixed music for interactive electronic book titles. 
  • Recorded, edited, and directed voice-over sessions for all projects completed.  Integrated voice-over, sound effects, and MIDI into proprietary development environments.
  • Ensured an appropriate mix and correct implementation of all audio assets and tested all projects for bugs on proprietary development units.
  • Generated and edited layout of music notation for printed music publication.

Rosetta Stone, Outside Audio Editor, Nov 2006 – Nov 2007
  • Edited thousands of lines of voice over and assured that all files were clean from pops, clicks, and other anomalies before being returned for implementation.
  • Achieved and surpassed the required 220 files edited per day quota when projects were assigned.
  • Maintained proper file organization structures and naming conventions according to design documents for all projects assigned.
